You will receive 10 Cherry Shrimp plus 2 extra as a DOA buffer (12 total). These shrimp are
home-bred in my fishroom, healthy, active, and bred for bright, consistent red coloration. Shrimp
are shipped at mixed ages (juveniles to young adults) for a better survival rate and easier
acclimation to their new home.
Cherry Shrimp are peaceful, hardy, and easy to care for, making them great for both beginners
and experienced aquarists. The juveniles you’ll receive are about 0.5–0.75 inches and will grow
to 1–1.25 inches as adults. They thrive in community tanks or shrimp-only setups and feed on
algae, biofilm, blanched vegetables like zucchini or spinach, and quality shrimp pellets. Cherry
shrimp do well in a wide range of water conditions, with a pH of 6.5–8.0, temperatures from
65–78°F, and moderate water hardness.
