Faded Colors
Stress from shipping can cause
colors—especially black—to appear lighter. This is temporary, and colors
will return over time.
Veiny Skin
Visible veins, often noticeable
on white areas, are a common stress response.
Behavior Changes
Koi may appear
unusually inactive with minimal movement or, in some cases, overly active
and jumpy.Jumping; Koi may jump out of pond during
the first few days due to stress. This is why its important to keep it
covered for at least a few days.
These signs are normal after the stress of transportation. With proper
care, your koi will recover and return to their usual vibrant state.
