🚚 Shipping Schedule • Live fish ship Monday through Wednesday only to avoid weekend delays. • Orders placed after Wednesday will be shipped the following week. • We do not ship on holidays or during extreme weather conditions. 📦 Packaging All fish are: • Fasted for 24 hours before shipping. • Packed in breather or oxygen-filled bags with insulation and heat/cold packs as needed. • Shipped in sturdy, insulated boxes to ensure safe arrival. ✈️ Shipping Methods • Overnight or 1-Day service (UPS Next Day Air / FedEx Overnight / USPS Express) is required for live arrival guarantee. • 2-Day service available at buyer’s risk — not covered by DOA guarantee. • Shipping costs are calculated by zip code and box size/weight. 📬 Delivery • Buyer must be present at delivery or arrange for Hold for Pickup if temperatures are extreme. • Packages must be accepted on the first delivery attempt for the live arrival guarantee to apply. • If the carrier marks a package as “delivered,” the seller is no longer responsible for loss or damage. 🌡️ Weather & Temperature Policy • We ship when both the sender’s and receiver’s locations are between 40°F–90°F. • If temperatures are unsafe, we will delay shipping and notify you immediately. • Buyers may request to hold the shipment until weather improves. 💵 Combined Shipping • Multiple fish can be shipped together when possible. • Additional fish usually add little to no extra cost — message before ordering for an accurate combined quote. 🐟 Live Arrival Guarantee Live arrival is guaranteed under these conditions: 1. Overnight shipping used. 2. Package accepted on first delivery attempt. 3. Clear photo/video of unopened bag sent within 2 hours of delivery. 💬 Live Arrival Guarantee We guarantee live arrival on all fish shipped via [choose carrier — USPS Priority Express / UPS Next Day Air / FedEx Overnight]. Fish are packed in insulated boxes with oxygen, heat/cold packs as needed, and handled with care. ⸻ ⚠️ Requirements for DOA Replacement or Credit To qualify for replacement or refund: 1. Photo/Video Proof • Clear, unopened bag photo/video must be sent within 2 hours of delivery (based on tracking time). • The bag must not be opened — opening the bag voids the DOA claim. 2. Delivery Timing • The package must be accepted on the first delivery attempt. • Missed deliveries, delays, or incorrect addresses void the live arrival guarantee. 3. Weather • Live arrival is only guaranteed if temps at the buyer’s and seller’s locations are between 40°F–90°F, unless special arrangements are made. ⸻ 💵 Refund or Replacement Options If the above conditions are met: • You may choose between a replacement (buyer pays new shipping) or a credit/refund for the fish cost only (shipping is nonrefundable). • Refunds/credits will not exceed the fish’s purchase price. ⸻ 🚫 Exclusions • Deaths after the fish have been acclimated or added to your tank are not covered. • Fish sold as “No DOA guarantee” or shipped via standard ground do not qualify. • Shipping delays caused by the carrier, weather, or buyer errors are not covered, unless insurance was purchased. ⸻ 📦 Shipping Recommendations • Overnight or 1-day delivery strongly recommended. • Signature or “Hold for Pickup” available upon request for extreme temperatures. • All fish are fasted before shipping and packed in fresh, clean water.
