Shipping Policy
Processing Time:
All fish orders are processed and shipped Monday through Wednesday to minimize weekend delays. Orders placed after Tuesday at 12 PM (ET) will be shipped the following week.
Shipping Methods:
USPS Priority Mail is our default shipping method. USPS 1-day or 2-day Express options are available upon request—please contact us before ordering if you’d prefer an expedited option. We ship using insulated packaging with heat or cold packs as needed based on current weather conditions.
Live Arrival Guarantee:
We guarantee live arrival on all overnight shipments that follow our shipping guidelines. In the rare event of a DOA (dead on arrival), clear photos of the unopened bag and deceased fish must be sent within 2 hours of the carrier’s recorded delivery time.
Local Weather Conditions:
We reserve the right to delay shipment due to extreme temperatures for the health and safety of the fish. Please check your local forecast before ordering.
Customer Responsibilities:
It is the customer’s responsibility to be available to receive the package at the time of delivery. Missed deliveries void the live arrival guarantee.
Refund Policy
Live Arrival Guarantee:
If any fish arrive dead, please provide clear photos of the unopened bag and the deceased fish within 2 hours of the carrier’s recorded delivery time. We offer either a refund or a replacement, with a preference for replacements when available. Shipping costs for replacements may apply.
No Returns:
Due to the sensitive nature of live animals, we do not accept returns on any live fish.
Shipping Charges:
Shipping fees are non-refundable. If a refund is issued for DOA fish, it will not include the original shipping cost.
